Martin Woodliffe asks: (2008-09-20 08:34:12)
Can I just plug the SCART to Phono adapter into the SCART socket at the back of my TV without using a scart LEAD then just plug the wireless speaker transmitter straight into the adaptor. I don't have a scart lead into the TV as it is in the bedroom and SKY TV and normal TV is fed into it by a normal ariel lead.

Chris says:
That will depend on whether the scart connector on your TV is wired for an output as well as an input.
you can sometimes find this in the specification in the manual.

Hi, i am nearly deaf and have to watch tv with subtitles and/or headphones. would your scart to phono adapter allow me to plug in a headphone jack from cordless headphones (or normal type) My sony tv allows the choice of speakers on or off with headphone socket but my other tv does not. Also I would like to be able to hear the hifi which has only speaker lead outlets, is it possible to piggy back these. I would only trust my expensive sennheisers after some cheapies! Please help.

Chris says:
The Scart adaptor picks up the line output from the scart cable, you can only connect wireless transmitters to this, as htere is no amplified speaker output.
You can use a Transmitter Mate to connect any wireless transmitter to a speaker output.

mike doyle asks: (2006-06-12 20:48:00)
I recently bought a Pur DMX-50 withtwo wirelessspeakers...fantastic quality and reception. Can I turn the DMX off from another room thru the speakers? also can I use the speakers with a Pure Tempus 1.

Nigel says:
The speakers can be used on any system that has either a headphone socket or phono outputs. All stereos and audio equipment will have a headphone socket. You can only control the volume on the speakers from that room. You can purchase remote control extenders which allow you to fully control your stereo from another room. Check out the wireless section on the site for further information.
