Andrew asks: (2007-11-07 14:42:22)
How do you set up the emana please? So far I have manually picked a freq then tuned my radio into it. I think I must be doing something wrong because the music played is barely audible - tried it in the car and in the house with a house radio. Thank you.

Chris says:
The most likely cause of quiet audio when using an FM transmitter is a low volume. This can easily by rectified by turning the volume of your MP3 player or other device up to around three quarters of maximum. once at this volume, you can adjust as required for your player, turning it down if distortion is heard, whilst maintaining the highest possible volume to ensure a strong transmitted signal.
If you can hear a radio station on the channel when you turn the transmitter off, it is a good idea to change the frequency you are using so the radio station does not block your signal.

venu asks: (2007-09-04 18:48:10)
what is the operating range of this product?
|
|
Chris says:
Frequency Range: 88 - 108 MHz
In terms of distance, this is partly related to the sensitivity of your radio receiver, with most radios, there should be no problem at 10-15 metres distance. There will also be a reduction in the distance for reception if there is a station already being transmitted on a similar frequency.
