Hi!!I currently have a set of Thomson WS 740U Dynamic Wiresless Stereo Speakers which have a 8 Watt output. The speakers use a 863 Mhz Wireless Transmitter.The transmitter is currently playing up. If I purchase this transmitter will it be compatible and will it work? Does the transmitter come with its adapter and fittings as well? Please advise. |

The transmitter is supplied with power supply and audio adaptors. it will more than likely operate fine with your speakers - however, as we have not tested it with those speakers, we cannot guarantee it. |

Our wireless speakers are not waterproof, so you would need to take care not to expose them to water or steam.

There is currently no easy way of converting your current speakers to wireless, however you could use a set of AQ wireless speakers to replace your existing speakers. |

I have a Toshiba HD TV and considering buying a Media Unit (Linkss KISS 6000) in order to connect wirelessly and play my PC media files into my lounge onto the TV. I also want to be able to route music to another room and have some control over this. How would I connect for this ? My TV has audi out and I suspect the Linksys unit has audio out also. |

You could use the AQ Wireless Speakers, however these only allow audio to be broadcast around the home. I think you may be looking for an audio/video sender which has in infra-red loop-back to allow you to control the source. |

How many sets of speakers can you have connected to 1 transmitter? Do you have to plug something into the transmitter to enable the speakers in every room or does every set of speakers pick up the signal upautomatically if turned on? Also are you able to have 1 pair of speakers working in stereo with another set of speaker (split up in different rooms) working in mono? |

There isnt a limit to the amount of speakers you can use to one transmitter. Once you connect the transmitter to your audio device the speakers will automatically detect the signal from the transmitter when turned on. The transmitter has 3 unique channels to allow 3 transmitters to be used within range of each other - without worrying about intereference. |

You need audio/phono outputs(usually red/white) of a line output/headphone jack. The connections you are talking about will not work. You would be best to connect the transmitter direct to your TV. |

Hi there, I have a number of existing speakers that I would like to become wireless enabled. In a perfect world I would like to use my laptop wireless to connect to a wireless reciever that would connect to my existing speakers. Is there something on the market that does this? 2nd option would be to have a usb dongle which would wirelessly route to the wireless enabled speakers. As I move the laptop around the house I do not want to have to carry a bulky add on with the laptop. |

You can send an audio signal to an amplified speaker using an audio transmitter such as the Oono Transmitta. This will work anywhere in the home or garden, assuming you are within range of the reciever. |

Walls do reduce the range, especially ones which contain metal structures, however it takes quite a bit to block the signal totally.

If the existing system transmits on the same frequency as our speakers, they will be compatible, you can get the 'Extra Speakers' which do not include the transmitter if you already have a suitable transmission device. |

Complete novice in these things. When I reconnected my transmitter to the TV after having moved it, it does not seem to pick up the signal from the TV or DVD anymore. I am sure I have reconnected it the same way. Any ideas on either what may be wrong or what I am doing wrong? I don´t mind replies along the lines of "are you sure there is petrol in it?"!! |

The transmission light only comes on when there is a sufficient volume to to be transmitted. If you are connecting it to a system on which it has worked previosly, the first thing to check would be the volume of the source.
