Hi, II plan to install the [AQ-Aqute 6] into a stud wall in our shower enclosure,Is it ok to tile around it,Bit concerned about Vibration though,What do you recon? Ta Ceri

The speakers can be installed in a tiled wall. Make sure that you seal round the edges of the speaker with a suitable sealant in order to prevent water getting into the wall cavity round the edges of the speakers.

Because the speakers use the wall cavity as a sounding box, if the wall backs onto another room, you may also be able to hear the sound in that room, depending on how well insulated the wall is and how loud you have the music.

We are having a indoor swimming pool build and the speakers here look good for what we require , but the speakers must be to ip65 rating which is a electrical reg for new pools . can you advise if this speaker is to that rating.

Hi, I'm refurbing my bathroom and want speakers sunk into the ceiling, which I'd connect to an amplifier in another room. Can the AQUTE 6 speakers be sunk into a standard ceiling, and if so would I need to buy extra fittings to do this? Also would they be safe/meet building reg.s etc in a bathroom with all the water/steam etc. Many Thanks

They can indeed be sunk in to a standard ceiling, you do not need any extra fittings other than what is provided with the speakers. The speakers are also safe to be used in a bathroom with water and steam.

Will Aqute 6 be OK if mounted in an outside wall with no cover? I want wall mounted speaker to fit into my patio wall. Technical info states they are fully waterproof does this mean they can be left outside in the rain continuously? Thanks

If the Aqute 6 is mounted INTO the wall then you will be fine. The front of the speaker is waterproof and can be left exposed outside continuously. Leaving the rear of the speaker exposed is not advised.

If you are looking to have a speaker ON the wall - as opposed to IN the wall - then we recommend either the Aquila 25 or the Aquila 50. The full speaker can be left exposed in this case.
