Kevin Scott pregunta: (2010-05-20 11:57:12)
I have just taken delivery of my speakers and have been trying them out on my radio, pc, tv....all with excellent results! Good work AQ! I have two questions however:- 1) I have connected them to my Freesat receiver. When I turn the Freesat & TV off the signal indicator on the transmitter turns off, but the speakers remain on (i.e. the power indicator light does not turn off after 4 minutes as indicated in your user manual Page 6). Why is this? 2) I may wish to get a further set of AQ speakers for another room in my house.....can I run two sets (i.e. on separate appliances) in the same house or will they conflict? |
|
Nigel comenta:
There are 3 channels to choose from so you can have upto 3 different transmitters within the area, you just need to make sure you have changed the channel on the rear of the transmitter. The manual only details the cut off for the transmitter, not the speakers, you will need to unplug them if you are using mains. |

Neil pregunta: (2010-04-26 21:55:51)
Does the transmitter need to be attached to an amplified source or would an un-amplified source be ok? |
|
Nigel comenta:
Un-amplified is fine as the speakers are powered. |

Robert Beaumont pregunta: (2010-03-24 23:19:49)
Can the transmitter be connected to an iMac computer? How weather proof are the speakers, can they be left outside permanently or brought inside to pro-long life e.g during rain or winter? |
|
Nigel comenta:
Speakers can be left out all the time, the plastic cover is 100% waterproof. As long as you have a 3.5mm headphone jack you can connect the transmitter. |

Martin pregunta: (2010-03-15 18:33:10)
What is the running time when using batteries? |
|
Nigel comenta:
We estimate 20-25 hours depending on volume. |

Don pregunta: (2010-01-25 20:00:04)
I have a new Panasonic 32" home TV and would like a modest form of stereo or 'surround' in my living room but cable free. I like the look of these speakers. How tall are they please? The speakers will both be within 15 feet of the TV with no walls in the way. Each will need its own plug in power source? Will they work in giving a better all round sound as opposed to turning my TV volume up too high? |
|
Chris comenta:
Using a second set of speakers with a stereo sound source results in stereo from 4 speakers, not surround sound. They may well be better than the speakers in your television though.

Julie pregunta: (2009-11-30 14:25:26)
Is the sound quality on the outdoor speakers inferior to the quality of the indoor speakers? Thanks Julie |
|
Nigel comenta:
They are better, the housing on the outdoor speakers increases the bass effect and therefore improves the sound quality. |

Ken Polton pregunta: (2009-06-15 16:18:07)
When do you expect additional speaker pairs to become available? The concept is magnificent, but these low output units will be at their best multiplexed, especially in outdoor environments |
|
Chris comenta:
You can use more than one set with the transmitter supplied, but unfortunately at the moment, they are no cheaper without the transmitter. It is not worth releasing a model which does not include the transmitter, as they would meed to be at the same price; If you want to use more than one set, you could buy a full set and have a spare transmitter.

josh denize pregunta: (2009-03-27 16:26:45)
do these speakers provide stereo sound or are they are pair of mono speakers? and do they come in any other colours? |
|
Chris comenta:
They are only available in white at the moment. The speakers are designed to be operated as a stereo pair, but could be used as mono speakers by connecting a mono input. |

Adam Lewszuk pregunta: (2009-03-21 12:20:11)
What is the maximum distance the speakers can be placed from each other (I assume they are connected) and from the power source (ie the length of cable from the transformer)? |
|
Nigel comenta:
The speakers are not connected. They can operate up to 100m away from the transmitter as individual speakers. The power cables for the individual speakers are about 1.5m long. |

Andy Watkins pregunta: (2009-02-06 22:49:31)
I already have a set of AQ Sound deluxe wireless speakers. Can I use the same transmitter with the outdoor speakers so I can listen to the same music in kitchen and garden? |
|
Nigel comenta:
Yes, however the Outdoor sperakers are not currently available as extra pairs. |
