Acoustic Energy's Extreme 5 speaker is "weather-proof", "splash-proof" and suitable for use in outdoor, damp, dusty or humid environments. This means it can deliver your choice of audio anywhere from your garden patio to the indoor swimming pool. It can also be installed and used in areas with an ambient temperature between 5°C and 35°C, so it will even survive the use in a busy kitchen environment.

Extreme Series speakers offer relatively high sensitivity and do not require generously rated power amplifiers for adequate volume levels to be achieved in typical listening environments. They also offer a relatively easy load to the amplifier and do not make unusually heavy demands on its power delivery.
