Andy Carr asks: (2010-08-10 12:21:07)
Would these speakers be suitable for mounting into patio decking, assuming there is sufficient clearance underneath. |
|
Nigel says:
This type of speaker are meant for walls or ceilings, you cannot place them face up as water would gather in the speaker cone. |

Chris Warner asks: (2010-05-25 19:02:34)
Can I use this speaker on a sailing dinghy? It would be splashed constantly and maybe submerged briefly if i turtled the boat. Also, how can you connect these to a standard ipod? |
|
Nigel says:
This speaker is not waterproof from the back, it is designed to fit into a wall or ceiling. The speaker needs power from an amplifier so cannot be connected directly to an iPod. My suggestion would be to look into waterproof iPod speakers like the iHome IH19. |

Charles Peachey asks: (2009-06-30 14:28:43)
Can I use the AQ AQCENT 6 speakers on my boat and connect them directly to my boat (car type) radio? |
|
Chris says:
They should be fine with most boat (or car) radio systems, however make sure that you check the wattage/impedance of the output to ensure you are not overloading the speakers or the radio. |
